El procedimiento para darse de ALTA o de BAJA en una lista es enviar un mensaje a una direccion de correo la cual automaticamente y sin intervencion humana de ninguna clase te dara de alta o de baja, esta direccion NO ES la misma direccion de la lista, y TODAS las peticiones de subcripcion y borrado deben ir a esa direccion, es de mal gusto enviar una suscripcion a la lista, ya que llegaría a todo el mundo (Suele ser una direccion del tipo majormo@direccion, listserv@direccion o nombre-de-lista-request@direccion )

El mensaje puede llevar el titulo que quieras, pero en el cuerpo del mensaje debe llevar el comando que deseas que ejecute, por ejemplo help (da una ayuda de lo que puedes hacer automaticamente), list o lists (indica las listas administradas por ese servidor de listas), etc. Muchas listas admiten varios tipos diferentes de suscripcion. Generalmente basta con enviar un mensaje a esa direccion de correo cuyo cuerpo del mensaje sea unicamente una linea que diga: subscribe midireccion@misuministrador.
Este proceso es transparente a los usuarios de la lista que no sabes si estas o no suscrito.

Posteriormente, una vez suscrito, los mensajes que se envian a la lista van a otra direccion diferente de la que maneja las suscripciones, esto te lo indica en la confirmacion de suscripcion y/o mensaje de Bienvenida.

Suele haber una direccion de una persona responsable de la lista con quien puedes contactar en casos de problemas, como puede ser nombre-de-lista-owner@direccion

This list is devoted to, well, basically anything that has to do
with the reproduction of sound.  The list started as a source for
information regarding the construction of subwoofers, and
evolved.

 Possible topics include:

  The design and construction of do-it-yourself speakers
  The design and theory of passive filters for speakers.
  The suitability of various drivers for particular
   enclosure types.
  CD's or other program material that has unusually
    deep or powerful bass content.
  The various driver manufacturers and their products.
  An amplifier or crossover suitable for certain needs
    for use with a certain speaker system.
  A discussion of the differences, if any between
   a woofer and a subwoofer.
  A request for a subwoofer model that will mesh
   well with a certain set of satellite speakers.

The Bass and DIY Loudspeaker Mailing list could *almost* be
considered the:  Everything Technical Dealing with Audio Electronics
and Speakers List.  While the lists discussions usually lean towards
loudspeaker design theory many other topics are also addressed.
If you have a question about the suitability of a topic email one

The discussions on this list can be very technical in nature and we
would like to keep it that way.  We would prefer questions on whether
it is okay to run 16 gauge wire over 50 feet to comments such as: "My
interconnects sound better than yours." Quantitative information is
preferable to qualitative information. Information on projects and

Europe-DVD

While DVD has yet to be launched officially in Europe, there are already
a number of players already here, many of them from the US market.  Because
of a system of regional code lockouts, US DVD releases will not be playable
on a European DVD player and vice versa.  However, the more advanced state of
the US market, and the tendancy for movies to receive a US release long before
a European release makes importing US players and discs an attractive
proposition.  If the regional lock-out can be broken and a player pursuaded
to play both, there is going to be a lot of interest amongst avid collectors
such as those who currently use LD.

   We are also starting work on a new Europe DVD web site - why not check it

The Europe-LD list has been a home to LaserDisc fans on the Internet since
September 1990 and continues to grow in members by the day.  By April 1997
it had over 500 members from all around Europe and Australasia.

   This list acts as a forum for the discussion of topics related to
using LaserDisc machines in Europe.  It has become a medium traffic
list but much of what is said will be of interest to European LD users.
While the state of PAL LaserDisc is the main concern, discussions of the
trials and tribulations of importing NTSC LaserDiscs are also welcomed
along with discussion of related technologies such as large screen TVs
and Surround Equipment.

 Although recent years have seen a vast improvement in the availability
of PAL LaserDiscs, it can still be difficult to obtain good information on
new releases and availability.  With a European version of DVD scheduled
for an Autumn 1997 appearance on the market, LaserDisc is going to have a
competitor once again.  Various catalogues and back issues of the digest
versions of both Europe-LD and Europe-DVD can be found on our FTP server
ftp.ee.surrey.ac.uk [131.227.50.21] in the directories /pub/archive/europe-ld
and /pub/archive/europe-dvd respectively.

  In addition to the mailing list and the anonymous FTP archive, we also
have a Europe-LD world wide web page, which contains a wide range of intro-
ductory material about LaserDisc as well as news items, new releases and

Phonogram

Phonogram is a discussion group for those who listen to, collect, or

The Rec.Audio.High-End Digest is the shadowed, email version of the
moderated Usenet newsgroup Rec.Audio.High-End.  It is made available as
a service to the members of the on-line audio community who either do
not have convenient Usenet access or prefer to read the group's traffic
in once a day email form.  Saved issues of the Digest also represent the
newsgroup's archives, with material available dating back to mid 1990.
